Thunderball is the ninth in the series of James Bond novels. Fleming said of his main character, “He enjoys the fight—he also enjoys the prizes. In fiction, people used to have blood in their veins. Nowadays they have pond water. My books are just out of step. But then so are all the people who read them” (Biondi & Pickard, 46-47). First issue dust jacket with price of 15s. net printed on front flap. Bond titles signed by Fleming are increasingly difficult to find. Fine condition.
